Thank you for your interest in our services. My names Vanna Gonzalez and I am the owner of Bluie's Pet Sitting. Bluie's Pet Sitting was originally opened in 2021 under the name Whiskers, Tails, and Scales, shortly after, I lost one of my best friends, Bluestopher (Bluie). Bluie was a dog I took a chance on when I saw him wandering the PetSmart parking lot back in 2015. Because of his size and breed, everyone was scared of him, but I gave him a chance, and he quickly became part of my little pack. When he passed, I knew I wanted to honor him in some way so renaming my business seemed like the perfect way. Bluie loved everyone, he didn't have a mean bone in his body. He was very protective of his family, guarding me from everyone when I was pregnant with my girls. No one was allowed to get near me; he'd give everyone a look. He loved hikes in Toro Park and being at the beach. He was terrified of pigeons but tried his best to be brave. We miss him everyday.
My business is run by myself with help from my husband and my daughters, who love joining in and building connections with our clients.
Vanna is a passionate animal lover with over 10 years of pet care experience, ensuring every pet feels at home. Vanna has worked at multiple pet care facilities and continues to learn about positive reinforcement and about enriching and brain stimulating activities for your pet.
Manny is an animal lover with 4 years of experience in pet care. Learning along the way, he has become an asset to Bluie's Pet Sitting.
The Gonzalez girls are big animal lovers, and they love helping their parents with simple tasks such as feeding and potty breaks. These girls are always excited to have your pets over for sleepovers. They also know about boundaries and have been learning about body language.
Batman is the oldest of the Gonzalez clan. He was born in 2014 and has been by Vanna's side since then. He is a very mellow dog who causes no trouble and loves every animal he meets. You may not seem him as often since he has anxiety when it comes time to meeting new people, (who doesn't) but once he knows you better, he'll come out for a quick hello before scurrying off back to his room.
Hennessy Sativa was adopted by the Gonzalez clan 3 years ago after they seen a free frenchie post on Facebook. She was used for breeding and needed dental work. She was fixed right away, and the vet removed 7 rotten teeth!! OUCH!! Since then, she's been living the diva life. Hennessy doesn't care much for other animals, she'll sniff and walk away, but she'll be the first one running to you for some butt scritchies.
**HoneyBee passed away Sunday September 28,2025. She was a big part of the Gonzalez family and is missed by her little humans every day. **
HoneyBee was adopted from Hitchcock last June. Like any typical cat, she could care less about everyone else. Just feed her and tell her she's pretty. If you're lucky, she can be seen sitting on the fence during pickups or drops offs.
